From StageOS News
Straight answers.
What is an electronic press kit (EPK)?
A single shareable page with your bio, photos, mixes, videos, past shows, availability and booking rates. Promoters use it to decide whether to book you in under a minute.
Is StageOS free?
Yes. StageOS exists to give grassroots artists real access — free, always. Your free EPK, gig listings in what's on and your directory profile are free. Pro is artist development: we promote every track, mix and gig you add on StageOS socials, StageOS TV and StageOS Radio, and auto-apply sends your EPK to festivals early. Pro subscriptions help fund tools and promotion for artists who are not in a position to contribute.
Is the EPK really free?
Yes. Your EPK, your link and your listing in the artist directory are free forever. Paid plans add extra promotion and more applications, but you never have to pay to keep your EPK online.
How do I get booked by promoters?
Publish your EPK with rates and availability, add your gigs so you show in local what's on listings, and apply to festivals from the festival directory. Promoters and venues search by genre, city and date and contact you directly.
I'm a promoter or venue — what do I get?
A searchable roster of artists with consistent EPKs and real rates, a page for each of your events that ranks in local searches, and a review flow for artist applications. Free.
