How they differ
presk.it is built for electronic artists and does one thing: a good-looking press kit that promoters can open from a single booking link. It shows your tracks, sets and livesets with play counts, plus highlights, riders and press assets. Its message is simple: send the link and get booked.
StageOS gives you the EPK too, with your bio, mixes, videos, photos, technical rider, rates and availability, and then gives you places to use it. Your upcoming gigs appear in what's on listings for your city, you can browse festivals open for applications and apply with your EPK attached, and members can be added to StageOS playlists.
Choose presk.it if…
- you want a focused, design-led press kit and already know where to send it;
- you mainly play electronic music and like its layout;
- you don't need help finding gigs or festival calls.
Choose StageOS if…
- you want gigs and festival slots, not just a page;
- you want your gigs listed in what's on for your city;
- you'd like a chance to be added to StageOS playlists.
Playlist placements
Members on a free trial or a paid plan with a published EPK and YouTube videos are added to StageOS playlists on YouTube (StageOS TV on YouTube): genre playlists, Featured Artists and event playlists such as ADE. Their EPK can show a "Hear me on StageOS playlists" badge. See the playlists.
