World Headquarters (WHQ) is Newcastle upon Tyne's longest-running independent underground nightclub and music venue. Established in 1993 and originating from the musical legacy of the Trent House Soul Bar, WHQ prides itself on being an inclusive, multi-racial, and community-focused space operating with a strict 'no dickheads' policy. Spanning two floors in Curtis Mayfield House, the venue hosts a wide array of events ranging from house, drum & bass, garage, and techno club nights to live gigs, community events, and freshers' parties.
