About this venue
Located in the heart of Newcastle looking out at the Monument, is Banyan a stylish and vibrant bar and kitchen serving flavours from around the world. We specialise in sharing, and love bringing people together. Split over 2 floors with 2 bars, Banyan has multiple charming spaces, available for private hire. The floor-to-ceiling windows fill both floors with natural light throughout the day, and our ambient lighting fills the venue with a golden glow into the night. This floral haven has multiple private hire options to suit all occasions. Capture unforgettable moments in front of our neon lights in the Bobby Dazzler or dine under a canopy of flowers in our private dining room, the Branch. If you are looking to host a larger event, hire our first floor Bar and Restaurant for up to 250 guests. This venue is ideal for every occasion; from training days/meetings and intimate birthday dinners to Summer/Christmas Parties and milestone special occasions. You belong at Banyan Newcastle, no matter the occasion.
