Established in 1985, Cluny Recording Studios is a long-standing recording facility located in Newcastle upon Tyne's historic Ouseburn Valley. Occupying space within the Grade II listed former flax spinning mill at 36 Lime Street, the facility operates alongside the renowned Cluny live music venue, bar, and kitchen complex. The studio features a 40-foot live room with natural reverb and modern digital technology, accommodating recording sessions for local, national, and international artists. While the main Cluny complex hosts regular live gigs, theatre productions, and private events, the recording studio serves as an established hub for music production in the North East.
