About this venue
ChachaBuchi is a high-end bar, restaurant, and nightlife spot located on Newcastle upon Tyne's Collingwood Street on the famous Diamond Strip. Designed as a sophisticated adult playground, the split-level venue features exposed brickwork, bark-lined walls, a glowing golden staircase leading to a mezzanine hangout, and an alpine-inspired chalet. It also includes an outdoor garden equipped with roaring fire pits. Offering a lively atmosphere alongside live bands, local singers, and DJs every weekend, ChachaBuchi serves an eclectic menu of indulgent shareable food—such as fondue, sushi, sourdough pizza, and flatbreads—paired with creative cocktails, draught beers, and wines. It caters to casual meet-ups, bottomless brunches, private events, and late-night celebrations.
