MAN1K: the Ukrainian witch house artist taking candles and distortion from Lviv to Tokyo
Dark ambient, darkwave and industrial noise, played to rooms in Lviv, Tokyo, Osaka and Madrid. We look under the hood of MAN1K, one of the most distinctive artists on StageOS.
By StageOS Editorial ·
Some artists build a sound. MAN1K builds a room. Candles, chains, smoke and a wall of distortion: the set-up is as much a part of the show as the music, and the music sits somewhere between a ritual and a rave.
MAN1K is a Ukrainian producer and DJ working in witch house, the slow, heavy, reverb-soaked corner of electronic music that borrows from dark ambient, darkwave and industrial. If you have only ever heard it through headphones, the live version is a different animal. The low end is physical, the vocals are buried under layers of haze, and the tempo drags you down rather than lifting you up.
From Lviv to Japan
What makes MAN1K stand out on StageOS is how far that sound has travelled. His recent dates take in Lviv in 2024 and again in 2026, Tokyo and Osaka in 2025, and Madrid the same year. That is a touring map most underground artists would take a decade to build, and it says something about witch house as a scene: small in any one city, but connected across borders by people who go looking for it.
Playing at home in Lviv in 2026 carries its own weight. Nights in Ukraine go ahead in conditions few artists elsewhere have to think about, and the people who come out for them come out for a reason.

Two tracks to start with
If you are new to MAN1K, start with two of his own originals:
- Hextronic: the cleanest introduction to the sound, built on a slow industrial pulse with the melody half hidden under the noise.
- Duskblaze (feat. Lattice Lovers): darker and more melodic, the one that shows where witch house meets darkwave.
Both are on his SoundCloud, linked from his EPK.
Why we are featuring him
StageOS is built for artists who are serious about getting booked, and MAN1K's profile is a good example of what that looks like: a clear sound, a real touring history, music you can press play on, and photos that show exactly what a promoter is buying. If you run a dark, experimental or goth-leaning night anywhere in Europe or Asia, he is worth a message.
