How to get booked
Promoters book DJs they have seen play, or who come recommended by someone they trust. Go to the nights you want to play, support them, and ask about warm-up slots. Record a mix that sounds like the slot you want, keep your EPK up to date with your mix, bio, photos and dates, and send one short, polite pitch per night with that link. Follow up once after a week or two. When you do get a set, turn up early, play to the room and share the event.
