Details
Smoove & Turrell are an English group from the North East who blend funk, Northern soul, hip-hop, and electronica into a style they call Northern funk. Formed by DJ-producer Smoove and vocalist John Turrell, the Jalapeno Records act has released seven studio albums, including Antique Soul and Stratos Bleu. Their North East live shows present their signature melodic grooves and soul-infused rhythms in a stripped-back format.
