Motel FMPRO

Motel FM (FKA Honey Motel) are a rising Liverpool-based alternative rock band, blending high- energy rock with melancholic textures drawn from grunge and shoegaze. Influenced by artists such as Nothing But Thieves, Loathe and Basement, while also channelling the softer sensibilities of The Backseat Lovers and Pinegrove, their sound strikes a balance between atmosphere and intensity. Following their live debut at Liverpool Sound City 2024, an independently backed EP campaign propelled the band onto the festival circuit, securing slots at Lake Fest, Alt. Escape, 110 Above, and the main stage at Y Not Festival. Over the past 12 months, Motel FM have been in the studio with producer Alec Brits, crafting their forthcoming EP. Leaning into a darker, alt-rock and grunge-inspired direction, the project was recorded live in one room to capture the raw, raucous energy of their performances. This commitment to authenticity and real emotion is already resonating with a rapidly growing online audience through teaser content.
