Formed in North East England, Martin Stephenson & The Daintees blend folk-rock, rootsy pop, country, jazz, and punk. Fronted by songwriter and guitarist Martin Stephenson, the group gained prominence on Newcastle-based label Kitchenware Records with their 1986 debut album Boat to Bolivia. Their live performances feature storytelling, humor, and a diverse catalog spanning four decades of recordings.
