Monochronique, the artistic alias of Munich-based DJ Stoyan Dafov, has been connected to electronic music since the mid-1990s, when the underground club culture across Europe was shaping a new era of sound, experimentation, and musical expression. Inspired by the progressive sounds of artists such as Sasha and John Digweed, the atmospheric productions of Underworld and Orbital, and the forward-thinking spirit of pioneers like Laurent Garnier and Sven Väth, he developed an appreciation for music that goes beyond the beat. For Monochronique, electronic music has always been about atmosphere, emotion, and the art of taking listeners on a journey. His current sound lies at the intersection of **progressive house and organic house**, bringing together hypnotic grooves, evolving melodies, warm basslines, intricate percussion, and atmospheric textures.
